About this team and role:
Mozilla is seeking a proven, self-motivated, creative and resourceful individual to join as a Senior Account Executive on our global advertising sales team. The ad product portfolio spans Firefox Native Content, Mozilla Developer Network, Pocket Native, and the newest addition to our product family – Fakespot, which powers trusted online shopping for millions of users. The ideal candidate will have strong relationships, experience, and a sterling track record selling into Fortune 500 brands and their agencies. The role requires frequent visits to accounts in the New York City area.
What you’ll do:
Consistently meet and exceed sales goals (revenue and logo targets)
Develop and present an integrated suite of solutions including native content ads and display
Build and maintain relationships with clients, agencies and partners
Understand client needs and present relevant solutions
Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline to ensure sufficient opportunities exist to meet revenue goals
Track, analyze and communicate performance of advertiser campaigns
Keep up-to-date and detailed records of sales activity through our CRM tools
Present client feedback to Mozilla product and marketing teams and work to develop new sales offerings to meet client needs
Represent Mozilla values with prospects and clients regarding consumer choice, trust and privacy
What you’ll bring:
5 - 7 years of related work experience in sales roles within the digital media industry
Bachelor’s Degree
Strong rolodex of major agency and Fortune 500 client contacts
Experience selling into programmatic agency trading desks, DSP’s and SSP’s
Strategic, consultative sales approach and the ability to deeply understand client needs, drivers of performance, quickly ideate and collaborate to create relevant solutions, set proper expectations and close important deals
Detailed knowledge of online media planning terms and processes
Deep understanding of native advertising and content marketing
Understanding of cross platform sales (desktop, mobile, in app, content marketing)
Demonstrated record of success in a dynamic, goal-oriented sales environment
Dynamic, flexible, hard-working and highly organized approach
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self starter that is well organized with good attention to detail
Open to feedback (from clients and internal stakeholders) and quick to incorporate and adjust approach, as needed
Strong multi-tasking abilities
Strong project management skills
Proficiency with CRM systems
