This is a fully remote role, reporting to the Tech Lead, and applicants must be based in South or Central America. With over 500 different ways to buy and sell digital dollars, Airtm is transforming into a platform for Digital Entrepreneurs (DE). About the Role:
Airtm is seeking a Sr Android Developer to continue enhancing our Android app by adding amazing new features while maintaining its security, scalability, and user-friendly experience.
Experience and skills required:
- Have created at least one mobile application from inception to store.
- Deep knowledge on Android’s Lifecycle-aware components and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin (idiomatic usage)- Deep understanding of MVVM architecture.
- Experience with Jetpack Compose (state management, theming, animations, navigation).
- Understanding of Kotlin Coroutines (understanding structured concurrency and coroutine cancellation).
- Strong skills in Unit testing- Advanced / Fluent in English.
