Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Automation QA Engineer with Java coding skills to join Binance's team. As a key member of the engineering department, you will work closely with developers, product managers, and partners to develop, test, and deliver high-quality software products. Your responsibilities will include creating detailed test plans and cases, preventing defects, analyzing and tracking product issues, designing automation scripts, and conducting manual investigations. You will also be responsible for identifying current test script deficiencies and candidates for additional scripted coverage. We value strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills, experience in Agile/Scrum development processes, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Responsibilities
- Work closely with team members (Developers, Product Manager and Partners) to develop, test and deliver high quality software products
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Prevent, collect, analyse and track product defects
- Design, develop and execute Automation scripts
- Hands-on Manual investigation and reproduction of functional Backend software issues
- Root cause analysis of existing test script failures
- Identification of current test script deficiencies and candidates for additional scripted coverage
- Investigatory testing of unreleased features including defining requirements, behavior and impact
- Documentation and design of candidate test scenarios for the above
Requirements
- 2 years and above experience in software testing methodologies in Automation testing end to end
- Good ability to to write clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Good ability to handle Backend services such as APIs, Databases, distributed services
- Familiar with Linux and database operation: Mysql, SQLServer, Oracle and test environment construction by CICD, Spring Boot
- Good written programming skill: Java
- Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process and using collaboration tools, such as Jira, Trello, Slack, etc
- Excellent interpersonal, consultative and communication skills
- Self-managed, proactive work style. Able to work independently within a team centric environment
