Job Summary

XBorg is seeking a Senior Back-End Software Engineer to join their remote tech team in Europe. The ideal candidate will have experience with Nest.js, PostgreSQL, Heroku/AWS, Docker, and Typescript. They should be passionate about gaming and/or Web3/decentralized technologies. As a member of the team, they will work on building backend systems for scalability and efficiency, optimizing performance metrics, prioritizing security, developing APIs, diagnosing issues, and contributing to the growth and success of the XBorg ecosystem. Responsabilities

    • Build and Scale Backend Systems: Architect backend systems designed for scalability and efficiency. You’ll work with high traffic and large data sets, so expect to optimize for performance and resilience.
    • Optimize and Monitor: Keep a close eye on performance metrics, identifying bottlenecks and continuously improving response times and stability.
    • Prioritize Security: Implement and maintain security protocols to safeguard both system integrity and data privacy.
    • Develop and Maintain APIs: Design APIs that connect our frontend applications with backend logic, focusing on reliability and clarity.
    • Diagnose and Resolve Issues: Tackle bugs and technical issues as they arise, with an emphasis on troubleshooting and long-term fixes.

What You Might Bring

    • Experience with Nest.js, PostgreSQL, Heroku/AWS, Docker, and Typescript.
    • 5+ years of experience in full-time or part-time software development, or you've built your own products/projects as a backend engineer.
    • Passion for gaming and/or Web3/decentralized technologies.

$72,000 - $160,000 a year
15% of the total XBG token supply is reserved for the team, distributed over a 10-year period. This allocation is structured to incentivize long-term commitment and align the team’s interests with the growth and success of the XBorg ecosystem.
