The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Presto, and Hive, with proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or Node.js. They will collaborate closely with the risk business team to support the development of risk-related data systems and design, build, and maintain the risk data mart. The Senior Big Data Engineer will also govern data assets, develop data products, and drive productization and intelligence of risk data construction, management, and application. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the risk business team to support the development of risk-related data systems.
- Design, build, and maintain the risk data mart, ensuring thematic data is reusable across different risk domains.
- Govern data assets, including tasks, tables, metrics, labels, and dashboards. Design and implement governance standards and SOPs, driving governance initiatives to successful outcomes.
- Develop data products. Drive the productization and intelligence of risk data construction, management, and application.
Qualifications:
- Over 5 years of professional experience in a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficient in big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Presto, and Hive, with practical experience in Spark task optimization.
- Skilled in designing data warehouse subject models, metrics systems, data quality management, and data governance.
- 2+ years of experience in backend development, with proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and server-side technologies.
- Experienced in database design and management for both SQL and NoSQL systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong analytical thinking and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Competent in project management and experienced in collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and set priorities.
- Fluency in English is required to be able to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders
- Familiarity with risk-related business domains.
