We are seeking a Senior Deal Desk Analyst to join our Deal Operations team. The role involves driving efficiencies in the quote-to-cash process by working closely with the Sales organization. Key responsibilities include mastering quoting processes in SFDC & CPQ systems, triaging quotes, evaluating deal economics and business terms, collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing pricing guidance, ensuring compliance with policies, and acting as a liaison to facilitate deal closure. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in Sales Ops, Finance, or related fields, proficiency in Salesforce, CPQ, Excel, and Google Sheets, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
We are looking for a Senior Deal Desk Analyst to join our Deal Operations team to drive efficiencies in our quote-to-cash process. This role will work directly with the Sales organization by providing a high level of service with integrity, urgency, and responsiveness. An ideal candidate will have a desire to work in a role that is continuously evolving as our organization grows.
What you will do:
Quickly learn and master the quoting process within the SFDC & CPQ system.
Conduct the initial triage of quotes submitted to the Deal Desk for review.
Evaluate deal economics, business terms, operational requirements, and non-standard structuring requests.
Collaborate closely with the Deal Desk members to manage the Deal Desk queue effectively and efficiently.
Review assigned quotes in terms of deal financials, pricing, and business risk.
Provide discount and pricing guidance based on published business policy and guidelines.
Operate as an escalation point and ensure compliance with published sales and business approval policies.
Act as liaison with cross-functional business partners to facilitate deal closure.
Establish productive relationships and collaborate with Legal, Finance, Product, Pricing Sales, and Operations to drive deal accuracy and efficiency.
Become a subject matter expert on all commercial aspects in deals including pricing, product configuration, and business terms.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Deal Strategy and Operations Senior Director.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor’s Degree.
3 to 5 years of experience with Sales Ops, Finance and/or Revenue Accounting, Deal Desk, or Sales.
Familiarity with financial or revenue recognition principles and contracting guidelines.
Experience in a high volume / multi-transactional environment.
Proficiency with Salesforce, CPQ, Excel, and Google Sheets.
Strong attention to detail both in writing and with numbers.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights.
Experience with direct SaaS sales ecosystems and sales quoting.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
Trustworthy with sensitive information.
