Orum is hiring a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to work remotely from Canada. As a key member of the team, you will own critical product features and collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to create seamless user experiences. With a strong backend focus, you will work on NodeJS, Typescript, React, Postgres, Google Cloud Platform, and FreeSWITCH. As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you’ll work across the stack with a strong backend focus (70% backend, 30% frontend). From inception to deployment, you’ll own critical product features, creating seamless, impactful user experiences in collaboration with our Product Managers and Product Designers. Must Have:
- Experience owning a product or feature through its lifecycle - from discovery to deployment
- 6+ year experience of professional software development experience
- 3+ years of experience building backend applications with Javascript/Typescript
- Experience working with an RDBMS using SQL
- Familiar with Unix shell scripting
Nice To Have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience measuring and tuning performance of NodeJS applications
- Experience building front ends with React
- Experience with cloud infrastructure programming with one of AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines
