Job Summary
JumpCloud is a remote-first company seeking a Senior Learning Specialist to design content, facilitate virtual sessions, and support professional growth programs. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience in Learning and Development, Training, or related roles, with expertise in instructional design, evaluation, and facilitation skills. They must be comfortable working in virtual environments, using technology to collaborate and connect, and have excellent interpersonal skills. The role involves creating differentiated onboarding paths, partnering with LMS administration, and overseeing metrics and program evaluation. JumpCloud is committed to being Remote First, meaning the successful candidate will work remotely within India.
Job Description
You will:
- Create, deliver and track new hire onboarding programming to focus on aligning business strategy by creating, enabling, and developing impactful programs designed to attract, retain, grow individuals especially during the 1 year tenure at Jumpcloud.
- Anchor Annual Compliance Training globally for updated content, rollout to all employees and contractors and work with HRCs to track completion
- Create differentiated onboarding paths based on career experiences, especially for early career and campus hires.
- Be the program owner of the global high-potential development program for emerging leaders. This includes content creation/curation, participation management, project tracking, session facilitation, and stakeholder management for high attendance / engagement.
- Partner with LearnUpon for LMS administration and be a point person within JumpCloud to help to map out learning paths and build courses in our LMS
- Facilitate virtual sessions for employees related to JumpCloud’s learning events, both presenting material and leading group building exercises, especially in APAC/EMEA.
- Collaborate on projects, programs and initiatives with the larger People team, especially the Talent management team
- Create and curate learning content in support of various developmental programs, including leadership, professional development, skills assessments, and company-specific processes/tools
- Oversee metrics, data analysis and program evaluation
- Help with documentation, project management, and organizational tas
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of overall experience with past 3 years in Learning and Development, Training, or related roles, preferably in the SaaS environment.
- Proven knowledge of learning and development best practices, methods, and tools.
- Proficient in using technology to create and distribute learning content, especially managing LMS
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including experience as an on-site and/or virtual facilitator.
- Prior experience managing programs and/or projects from conception to completion.
- Proven ability to manage effectively with ambiguity, manage multiple projects, and prioritize in a rapidly changing environment.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience or certification in professional coaching or leadership development
- Trained on scrum or other project management approach
- HR generalist experience to understand employee and manager viewpoints
- Experience designing comprehensive curriculum for a variety of professional growth topics, especially leadership/management and coaching/mentoring
- Experience helping guide accessibility, inclusivity and rigor of in-house training (virtual-led as well as self-paced e-Courses)
- Assisted mapping & managing the lifecycle of projects from start to finish, keeping them on pace
- The ability to effectively and efficiently communicate with stakeholders of various levels (including People leaders & C-suite)
