This role will be responsible for all aspects of marketing which can help increase overall brand awareness in Japan, improve our retention rate while continuously acquiring net new customers in the region. This role encompasses a diverse set of responsibilities crucial for driving successful digital marketing initiatives.This role will impact the Japan growth strategy, working at both the strategic level and at the tactical level. This requires forming new partnerships while optimizing our current marketing channels such as influencers, Social, affiliates, OOH and day to day management as well as collaborating with cross functional team members internally as well as externally with the partner’s teams.
Develop paid media strategies aligned
with the company’s goals, negotiate media buys, explore new channels, and launch partnerships to enhance visibility with key focus on growing our customer base.
Oversee end-to-end success of creative and new campaign launches; marketing/promotions, campaign localization, local program operations, customer service, and local marketplace communications
Manage the local creative agency and own the relationship with media and PR agencies on how we can improve relevancy in this region.
Report daily, weekly results and progress against sales plan. Analyze reports for the market, translate findings into insights and actionable growth tactics
Lead Influencer marketing in the region and continuously help grow the overall talent pool to reach a wider audience.
Manage and allocate digital marketing budgets across various channels and initiatives, ensuring strategic investment and maximizing client ROI.
Coordinate and lead PR & Events for the local market
Work with the central CRM team on how we can optimize our rewards program to further build loyalty
Proactively research partner's sites to ensure accuracy and delivery of our content, while continuously looking at ways to improve our brand position.
Support Japan team to define commercial strategies and trade marketing calendar to accelerate sales for each region

Experience and Education Requirements:
Minimum 8 years of relevant e-commerce experience
Bachelor’s degree required.
Must be fluent in Japanese and English
