What You Will Be Doing
- Driving initiatives within the Platform Engineering sphere.
- Championing high standards of work and industry best practices.
- Communicating with teams and stakeholders at all stages.
- Bringing fresh ideas to the table and encouraging others.
- Diving into complex technical problems with a can-do attitude.
- Working across numerous technologies in a fast changing industry.
- Increasing Developers productivity through enhanced tooling.
- Writing code, handling alerts, improving solutions and supporting others.
- Playing a crucial role in the success of your company and team.
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years Linux systems administration and infrastructure experience.
- Ability to design robust solutions to technical challenges.
- A focus on automation and "infrastructure as code", including automated testing of infrastructure code.
- An agile mindset with the ability to work in a collaborative manner.
- Strong skills with AWS, Docker and Kubernetes.
- Software development - Bash, plus either Python or Go preferred or similar.
- Configuration management tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- CI platforms & Revision control systems, Github or Gitlab preferred
- An understanding of observability (MELT) tools in our industry
- A history of continual professional development.
