This will be a remote role to start, with plans to transition to hybrid 2x/week in office, likely in downtown Toronto, Canada.

With millions of diners, tens of thousands of restaurants, and 23+ years of experience, OpenTable, part of Booking Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: BKNG), is an industry leader with a unique insight into the world of hospitality. We champion restaurants, bars, wineries, and other venues around the world, helping them attract guests, manage capacity, improve operations and maximize revenue.

Every employee at OpenTable has a tangible impact on what we do and how we do it. You’ll also be part of a global network that includes OpenTable and KAYAK's portfolio of travel brands including Swoodoo, checkfelix, momondo, Cheapflights, Mundi and HotelsCombined.

Hospitality is all about taking care of others, and it defines our culture. You’ll work in a welcoming and inclusive environment, and get the benefits, flexibility, and support you need to succeed.

The Restaurant Product Team is dedicated to empowering restaurants to provide great dining experiences. We do this by building industry-leading hospitality solutions that help restaurants, around the globe, run and grow their business. As part of the Product Management team, you’ll help restaurants achieve this goal by providing the solutions they need to manage their restaurants and customer data.

OpenTable is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our Restaurant Platform Team, focusing on our B2B SaaS product that supplies reservations to the marketplace. This individual will be responsible for developing functionality within the platform, enabling in-product paid add-ons, and upselling customers within the plans outlined on our marketing website. The Senior Product Manager will also play a key role in onboarding customers to new paid features through in-product channels.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product strategy and roadmap for the restaurant platform.
  • Assist in redeveloping restaurant solutions into new packages to address new market segments, focusing on casual restaurants that don’t traditionally take reservations.
  • Work towards increasing Revenue per Restaurant, Monthly recurring revenue from subscription fees, and overall growth in the number of restaurants using our platform.
  • Develop functionality within our Restaurant Platform to enable in-product paid add-ons and upselling customers within existing plans.
  • Onboard customers to new paid features and ensure successful adoption.

Please apply if:

You’re high-energy and enthusiastic about working with teams and delivering great products. You’re experienced in analyzing market segments and positioning solutions across plans with the flexibility to include paid add-on products and capitalize on customers' willingness to pay and price sensitivities. You are motivated and focused on results, working across multiple teams to align on goals and drive impact. You bring experience in product discovery and a data-driven customer-centric approach that will push our product direction forward. You successfully handle trade-offs between technical debt and new features, and balance the needs of outside organizations and OpenTable's own goals. You're eager to learn from failures - not just from successes. You’re fun and motivated to work on a fast-paced team and share a passion for building great products that customers love.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in a product management role and work experience.
  • Outstanding collaboration skills; ability to gain the respect of your product, design, engineering, and product marketing counterparts.
  • Experience as a Product Manager in a B2B SaaS environment, preferably within the restaurant industry.
  • Solid understanding of product development processes and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and partner management skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.

Benefits:

  • Paid Time Off - 20 days a year

  • Flexible sick time off
  • Paid volunteer time
  • Parental Leave Benefits
  • Dental & Vision Insurance
  • Life & Disability Insurance
  • Group RRSP and DPSP
