We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer (Cloud) to join Binance's team in Singapore. As a key member of the engineering team, you will work closely with developers, product managers, customer support, and partners to develop, test, and deliver high-quality products. Your responsibilities will include creating detailed test plans and cases, preventing defects, analyzing and tracking product issues, designing automation scripts, and conducting manual investigations. You will also be responsible for root cause analysis, identifying test script deficiencies, and documenting test scenarios. We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant fields, prior knowledge of blockchain and exchange-related domains, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities
- Work closely with team members (developers, product manager, customer support and partners) to develop, test and deliver high quality products
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Prevent, collect, analyze and track product defects
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts
- Hands-on manual investigation and reproduction of functional Backend software issues
- Root cause analysis of existing test script failures, product issues
- Identification of current test script deficiencies and candidates for additional scripted coverage
- Investigatory testing of unreleased features including defining requirements, behavior and impact
- Documentation and design of candidate test scenarios for the above
- Stay ahead with the latest technology trends, persistently enhancing the team's testing process, methodologies, and efficiency
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or relevant fields
- Prior knowledge in block chain and exchange related domain would be highly advantageous
- Competence in designing, writing and executing comprehensive testing plans and test cases
- Strong knowledge of Software QA Automation methodologies, Backend Testing, Auto frameworks and design processes
- Solid knowledge of SQL, Hands on solid coding / writing script capability (Java preferred)
- Experience in functional testing for web and mobile applications is a big plus
- Proficient in conducting root cause analysis to identify and address underlying issues impacting software quality
- Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills
- Self-managed, proactive work style. Able to work independently within a team centric environment
- Enjoys breaking things and solving problems - not just able to find out the 'what', but also the 'why'
- User Focus mindset, demonstrate good logical thinking and seamless team communication skills
