Senior QA Engineer - .COM - Automation & Java coding

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join Binance's team in Singapore, UAE, Taiwan, Taipei, or Thailand. As a key member of the engineering team, you will work closely with developers, product managers, and partners to develop, test, and deliver high-quality software products. Your responsibilities will include creating detailed test plans and test cases, preventing defects, analyzing and tracking product issues, designing automation scripts, and conducting manual investigations. You should have at least 7-8 years of experience in software testing methodologies, a strong ability to write clear test plans, and proficiency in Java coding. Responsibilities
- Work closely with team members (Developers, Product Manager and Partners) to develop, test and deliver high quality software products
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Prevent, collect, analyze and track product defects
- Design, develop and execute Automation scripts
- Hands-on Manual investigation and reproduction of functional Backend (Java) software issues
- Root cause analysis of existing test script failures
- Identification of current test script deficiencies and candidates for additional scripted coverage
- Investigatory testing of unreleased features including defining requirements, behavior and impact
- Documentation and design of candidate test scenarios for the above
Requirements
- At least 7-8 years experience in software testing methodologies, both Automation (*Must have) & Manual (General)
- Strong ability to to write clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Strong ability to handle Backend services such as APIs, Databases, distributed services
- Familiar with Linux and database operation: Mysql, SQLServer, Oracle and test environment construction by CICD, Spring Boot
- Good programming: Master in Java coding (Must have)
- Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process and using collaboration tools, such as Jira, Trello, Slack, etc
- Excellent interpersonal, consultative and communication skills
- Self-managed, proactive work style. Able to work independently within a team centric environment
