About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruitment for mid-level to executive roles across engineering, product, and marketing departments. As our company expands, this individual will be instrumental in building a pipeline for roles from junior to senior, director, and C-level positions.


The ideal candidate will bring fresh ideas to our recruitment strategy and support a growing team of junior recruiters, fostering their development and helping them achieve their recruitment goals. Additionally, the Senior Recruitment Specialist will play a key role in attracting top-tier talent for new product launches, and have a hands-on approach to sourcing within niche tech communities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for engineering, product, marketing, and leadership roles, from junior to C-level, ensuring alignment with business growth and company objectives.
  • Design and execute proactive sourcing strategies targeting top talent, focusing on engineering roles as well as leadership positions, utilizing communities such as GitHub, Discord, Facebook, Reddit, Stack Overflow, Telegram, and other social media platforms.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for mid-level, senior, director, and executive roles, including Co-founders for new products and ventures.
  • Leverage creative sourcing methods to engage passive candidates and build relationships with top-tier talent within the tech industry.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and senior leadership to understand talent needs and create tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior recruiters, ensuring they are equipped to recruit for junior and mid-level roles while maintaining high standards of recruitment practices.
  • Enhance and optimize the recruitment process by utilizing modern ATS platforms (Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever, etc.) and continually improving performance metrics.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in tech hiring and executive recruitment, using this knowledge to shape and adapt recruitment strategies to ensure a competitive edge.
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience, especially for senior-level and executive talent, ensuring confidentiality, professionalism, and a positive journey.
  • Contribute to strategic workforce planning by anticipating future hiring needs and aligning efforts with business priorities.
  • Support the recruitment team in attracting and hiring top talent from Eastern Europe, with a preference for candidates who speak Ukrainian or Russian.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, focusing on engineering, product, data and executive-level hiring (C-level, Directors, senior leadership).
  • Proven experience in sourcing and recruiting through niche tech communities, including GitHub, Discord, Reddit, Facebook, Stack Overflow, Telegram and other industry-specific platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously, with a strong focus on quality hires for both mid-level and executive positions.
  • Expertise in direct sourcing, market mapping, and executive search strategies for leadership and senior technical roles.
  • Strong mentoring skills to guide junior recruiters and help them achieve their recruitment targets.
  • Experience in building long-term relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and senior leadership.
  • Familiarity with the tech talent market, including compensation structures, industry trends, and best practices for tech hiring.
  • Experience using ATS platforms such as Greenhouse, Lever, or similar tools to track performance and streamline processes.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism in all stages of the recruitment process.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Ukrainian or Russian is a significant plus.

Location

Ruby Labs operates within the CET (Central European Time) zone. Applicants from any country are welcome to apply for the position as long as they are located within approximately ± 4 hours of CET. This ensures optimal collaboration and communication during working hours.

Interview Process
