Simple is seeking a Senior SRE/Platform Engineer to develop and run large-scale, distributed systems with a focus on optimising systems and reducing work through automation. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in software engineering with Python or Golang, strong communication skills, and working experience with AWS and Kubernetes. They will be responsible for developing infrastructure in AWS, internal tools to automate routine operations, supporting security initiatives, and engaging in the whole lifecycle of services from inception to deployment. Right now we are looking for a talented Senior SRE who will combine software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, distributed, fault-tolerant systems with a focus on optimising systems and reducing work through automation.

What you'll do:
- Develop our infrastructure in AWS
- Develop internal tools that will automate routine operations, decreasing time to market. We want developers to be as self-sufficient as possible. Also known as Platform team approach
- Support security initiatives
- Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle for services—from inception and design, through deployment, operation and optimisation.
What we look for:
- 3+ years of professional work experience in software engineering with Python or Golang
- Strong communication skills as the platform owner, also towards business and dev teams
- Working experience with AWS and Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD, VictoriaMetrics, ArgoCD, Terraform
- Ownership of projects from concept to release
- Fluent English level
