Eventbrite is seeking an Engineer to join their team in developing innovative ad platforms. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience building software applications with a focus on high-level languages like Python, Java, or Kotlin. They should be data-driven and prioritize maintainable code, while also being solution-oriented and familiar with CI/CD tools. Experience with AWS technology, serverless applications, and event-driven architecture is highly valued. With a salary range of $91k-$164k per year, this role offers the opportunity to impact Eventbrite's platform and organization at scale.

THE TECH STACK
We heavily leverage AWS technology to get the job done. On any given day you will be working with Lambdas, ECS and Fargate, Serverless Aurora, API Gateway, Terraform, Docker, Kinesis, and much more! We are committed to scalability through serverless applications where it makes sense.
THE SKILLSET
2+ years experience building software applications
Experience with high-level languages, specifically Python, Java, or Kotlin
Experience with MySQL, Aurora, or other RDBMS
You are data-driven and know how to find the data you need to support your ideas
You care about making sure your code is maintainable and well tested
You are a pragmatic programmer that understands how to balance quality, time to ship, and cost
You are solution oriented constantly driving towards better outcomes for your customers
You are familiar with CI/CD tools and processes
