Spanish Video Quality Specialist

Welocalize is recruiting for Bilingual Video Quality Specialists to join our team!

As a Video Quality Specialist, you will be reviewing and troubleshooting video content for TV shows and movies for one of the world’s leading multimedia streaming platforms, ensuring they are free of errors.

Please note: This position will require you to work remotely in Japan.

What you'll be doing? In this exciting role, you will be reviewing and troubleshoot video content for a leading consumer technology company as a contributor to the finished products released in target markets across the globe.

What you’ll need to succeed:
• Native-level linguistic competency in Spanish
• High proficiency in English
• 1+ year's experience in video editing / troubleshooting or technical video roles
• Excellent ability to research and troubleshoot common technical errors such as frame rate issues, subtitling and audio mistakes, for movies and tv shows for your market
• Excellent analytical skills and good knowledge of macOS systems
• A strong interest in TV shows / movies / media

Key Qualifications:
Passion for digital video and knowledge of the film and TV industry
Possess a thorough working knowledge of common technical issues found in digital video and audio
Willingness to work in a high volume, fast-paced, and changing environment
2-4 years experience working with digital video
Ability to take initiative and troubleshoot video/system playback issues and identify trends to propose short and long-term solutions Track record of responding quickly and decisively to issues
Effective verbal and written communication skills

The ideal candidate should have experience with some or all of the following:
Knowledge of subscription video content services and familiarity of their product offerings
Intermediate to advanced spreadsheet knowledge
High proficiency in English
Multilingual a plus but not required
