Location: This is a fully remote position within a globally distributed company. It is open to candidates located in the EMEA region who wish to work remotely. We are hiring a (Senior) DevOps Manager to lead our infrastructure and DevOps initiatives while managing and mentoring our DevOps team. In this role, you'll report directly to the VP of Engineering and be responsible for implementing modern, cost-effective DevOps practices while ensuring our infrastructure is secure, scalable, and efficient. You'll play a crucial role in shaping our technical operations and driving innovation within our Platform team.

What would your day look like?

  • DevOps team leadership: Provide technical leadership and hands-on support in building next-generation infrastructure & scalable CI/CD solutions that enable massively parallel testing and AI-augmented engineering workflows while maintaining cost efficiency.
  • Resource Optimization: Lead capacity planning and cost optimization efforts, ensuring efficient resource utilization at scale while maintaining performance standards.
  • Platform Reliability: Define, implement, and monitor advanced metrics for scale performance while providing technical leadership in incident response and problem-solving to ensure critical system availability.
  • Engineering Excellence: Collaborate with engineering teams to unlock the next levels of AI-augmented coding & quality engineering via deployment, monitoring, and optimization of processes & systems.
  • Security Partnership: Partner with security to implement robust security measures that protect our platform and client data.
  • Automation Innovation: Drive infrastructure automation initiatives to enable self-service capabilities for engineering teams.
  • Client Success: Design and optimize infrastructure patterns & best practices that our enterprise clients can adopt to enhance their testing capabilities.

What do you need to succeed?

Technical Skills

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure management, or similar technical roles.
  • Expert knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and experience optimizing multi-cloud environments for cost and performance.
  • Deep expertise in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines capable of handling massive parallel workloads.
  • Strong background in Infrastructure as Code and modern containerization technologies.
  • Experience with advanced monitoring and observability tools like NewRelic.
  • Solid understanding of security best practices & compliance requirements.

Human Skills

  • Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Hands-on technical leader who enjoys both strategic planning and direct implementation.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a proven track record of driving technical solutions from concept to completion.
