Summary of Responsibility

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of our projects and aligning and innovating our products, offerings, and engineering technologies.

Using primarily Java and the Spring Integration framework, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data integration pipelines to extract data from various sources. You will handle different data formats, transform and cleanse data for integration, monitor and optimize pipeline performance, troubleshoot data issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet data requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Technical Excellence: Demonstrate deep knowledge in specialized areas of our technology stack. Proactively identify opportunities to adopt new technologies, design patterns, and tools.

• Project Execution: Be able to represent the technology acumen, commit, and deliver the solutions on time or exceeding expectations.

• Team Influence: Drive improvements in processes and methodologies. Mentor junior team members, helping them upskill and understand the intricacies of the domain.

• Leadership: Set clear technical direction for the team’s projects, ensuring that the team understands and is motivated to achieve the desired outcomes. Handle technical conflicts or challenges effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Experience in data integration, including ETL pipelines and related processes.

• Proficiency in Java and the Spring framework (Spring MVC, Spring Data). Experience with Spring Integration or similar enterprise integration patterns (EIP) and message-driven architectures is a plus.

• Strong database skills, including PostgreSQL or other relational databases, as well as NoSQL databases like MongoDB.

• Expertise in API development and integration, including REST and SOAP services.

• Cloud experience, preferably with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in software development.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address complex technical challenges.

• Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional and cross-geography teams.

• Proven track record of mentorship and impactful team contribution.

• Demonstrated expertise in software development methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe
