We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee and optimize provider pay accounting processes. The role involves managing weekly and monthly accounting processes, collaborating with the telemedicine team, performing month-end reconciliations, analyzing financial data, and providing insights and recommendations to management. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with a focus on Provider Payments Accounting Operations to oversee and optimize our provider pay accounting processes. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions, implementing best practices, and maintaining compliance with payment policies and accounting standards. The Senior Accountant will also play a key role in supporting the financial aspects of telemedicine operations, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Manage weekly and monthly accounting processes related to the provider network, including calculating and processing monthly payments and maintaining provider vendor records.
Collaborate with the telemedicine team to track expenses, manage contracts, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve operational performance.
Perform month-end reconciliations, ensuring adherence to high standards of accuracy and completeness.
Analyze telemedicine revenue, costs, and financial fluctuations to provide actionable insights for optimizing operational efficiency and profitability.
Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial data.
Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring timely responses to audit requests.
Enhance accounting procedures to comply with public company Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) control requirements.
Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Automate, streamline, and redesign processes to improve transaction booking and reconciliations.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) documentation.

Support month-end coding reviews related to cash and intercompany (IC) entries.
BA or BS degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics from a top-ranking university (required).
5+ years of experience in accounting, with direct experience in public companies and/or managing daily accounting operations (required).
Experience with NetSuite, Tipalti or other billing systems strongly preferred.
CPA track preferred.
Advanced Excel skills required.
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to interpret financial data and support decision-making.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage projects in a fast-paced environment.
