Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate, Marketing Analytics & Insights to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and problem-solving skills, with experience in digital advertising and marketing analytics tracking, implementation, and reporting. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of advertising initiatives, analyze complex datasets, and derive actionable insights. You will also guide the development of marketing channel and campaign performance dashboards and visualizations, support marketing with timely views into the impact and performance of marketing initiatives. With a strong understanding of differences between campaign KPIs, marketing channel KPIs, and attribution methodologies, you will aid in data collection that will be utilized in media mix modeling and multi-touch attribution. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with experience working in/for a DTC eCommerce company being a plus. About You

We are seeking a highly motivated and solutions-oriented Senior Associate, Marketing Analytics & Insights to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is passionate about data and analytics, possesses strong technical and problem-solving skills, and excels at deriving actionable insights from complex datasets. 

In this role, you will support the Senior Manager, Growth Marketing Analytics & Insights ensuring the successful execution of advertising initiatives, with a key focus on media tracking specifications, quality assurance, and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a clear understanding of project goals and cross-channel media measurement needs.

  • Proactively identify measurement, reporting and process gaps and opportunities for marketing and analytics teams to use data effectively.

  • Develop detailed campaign and marketing channel KPI tracking and data mapping specifications for media delivery and engagement activities, collaborating with the marketing channel leads, tech team and external analytics partners as needed.

  • Guide the data collection and transformation of data from ad platforms into master data warehouse for usage by multiple internal stakeholders, to include defining data capture methodology and devising detailed definitions of metrics and calculations for end users.

  • Conduct QA and post-launch validation of tracking, ensuring alignment with specifications and data flows for accurate, reliable and consistent data capture.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting, tracking and reporting issues, identifying and documenting problems, offering solutions, and coordinating with Senior Manager and cross-functional teams for timely resolution.

  • Guide the development of marketing channel and campaign performance dashboards and visualizations, supporting marketing with timely views into the impact and performance of marketing initiatives.

  • Run ad hoc reports from ad platforms, data visualization tools or data warehouse as needed, providing analysis and actionable recommendations.

  • Monitor marketing and advertising performance regularly, providing trend analyses, deviation deep dives, insights and recommendations for efficiencies and future campaigns.

  • Create and present sophisticated analysis to marketing channel leads that brings insightful and measurable evaluation of data and storytelling.

  • Aid in data collection that will be utilized in media mix modeling and multi-touch attribution.

  • Support marketing in quantifying media planning scenarios leveraging media planning tools founded on media mix modeling.

  • Support marketing in quantifying media performance effectiveness leveraging multi-touch attribution data, reporting and analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, analytics or similar discipline.

  • 4+ years of experience in digital advertising & marketing analytics tracking, implementation, and reporting.

  • Digital Advertising Agency experience preferred, having implemented tracking for and analyzed channels such as Display, Social, Video, Paid Search, Influencer, Audio, TV, etc.

  • Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience working in/for a DTC eCommerce company is a plus

  • A strong understanding of differences between campaign KPIs, marketing channel KPIs, and attribution methodologies.

  • Experience implementing cross-channel campaign naming conventions, utm parameters, media channel tracking pixels and conversion events.

  • Fluent in discussing key marketing KPIs (CPA/CAC, CPM, CPC, CTR, etc). 

  • Excellent organization skills, project and time management, communication, and presentation skills with proven attention to detail.

  • Comfortable with Tableau or other similar data visualization software.

  • Experience with Web Analytics packages (ie Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and marketing platforms (ie TradeDesk, Google CM360, Facebook Ads Manger).

  • Ability to query databases using SQL is a plus.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to learn new technologies and data analysis techniques quickly.
