About this Position:
G-P is seeking a dynamic and technically savvy Sr. Director, Head of Integrations and Developer Ecosystem to lead the strategy, growth, and evangelism of our integrations and API products. As a key member of the Product organization, this role will own the Partner Integrations and API product strategy while serving as the primary advocate for the developer and partner ecosystem. The Sr. Director, Head of Integrations and Developer Ecosystems will collaborate with partners, developers, product managers, and go-to-market teams to drive strategy, roadmap, adoption, engagement, and monetization of integration solutions, and influence partner roadmaps too as needed.
This is a strategic, market-facing role requiring a product leader with a revenue-driven mindset who can articulate the value of APIs and integrations to partners and customers while driving business growth.
What you'll do:
- Own the API Product Strategy: Define and execute the strategy for G-P’s integrations, APIs, and developer ecosystem.
- Evangelize G-P’s Technology: Represent G-P’s API and integration products externally, engaging with partners, customers, and the developer community through speaking engagements, content, webinars, and events.
- Drive Partner and Developer Adoption: Build and nurture relationships with key partners, system integrators, customers, and third-party developers to expand adoption of G-P’s integration capabilities.
- Drive Product Development: Collaborate with engineering, product management, and sales teams to shape and deliver the roadmap for API enhancements, partner integrations, and developer enablement.
- Create Developer-Friendly Resources: Lead the development of SDKs, documentation, sample code, and other enablement materials to simplify integration with G-P’s platform.
- Market Analysis & Competitive Positioning: Stay ahead of industry trends, analyze competitive offerings, and ensure G-P remains a leader in HCM integrations.
- Community Engagement & Thought Leadership: Foster a vibrant developer community through online forums, hackathons, and developer events.
What we're looking for:
- Product Leadership: Proven experience in API product management, developer platforms, or technical evangelism roles.
- Market-Facing Experience: Exceptional communication and presentation skills with a track record of engaging with external stakeholders, including partners and developers.
- Revenue-Driven Mindset: Experience in monetizing API ecosystems, driving partner engagement, and creating revenue-generating developer programs.
- Technical Aptitude: Strong understanding of APIs, web services, and cloud-based HR tech solutions. Ability to engage with engineers and technical stakeholders effectively.
- Strategic Thinker & Hands-On Executor: Ability to think big-picture while executing tactical initiatives.
- Industry Expertise: Familiarity with HCM, HR tech, payroll, or related domains is a strong plus.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years in product management, developer relations, or API platform leadership roles.
- Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms and integrations.
- Developer ecosystem knowledge → Experience working with developer portals, documentation, and sandbox environments.
- Integration experience → Familiarity with HR tech, payroll systems, and SaaS integrations (e.g., Workday, ADP, BambooHR).
- Data flow understanding → Knowledge of HRIS data structures, employee records, payroll data, and compliance-related workflows.
- Technical stakeholder management → Ability to collaborate with engineers, product managers, and external developers to refine API strategy and improve adoption.
- Experience with API monetization and building partner ecosystems.

The annual gross base salary range for this position is $208,000 - $260,000 plus variable compensation.
