About this Position
G-P is seeking a Senior Event Marketing Specialist to join the Global Events Team. This position reports into the Director, Global Events, on the Communications and Events team. We are looking for a results-oriented, creative, growth-minded team player who is comfortable working cross-functionally, as well leading programs independently. This role is focused on driving brand awareness, product interest and increasing sales for G-P’s newest product, G-P Gia, the world’s first AI-based global HR compliance advisor.
The Senior Event Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing a strategic tech-focused event program, overseeing execution from proposal to delivery and ensuring measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to manage complex programs in a tech-oriented industry and execute events that result in tangible business growth.
What You’ll Do:

Develop and execute a comprehensive calendar of tech-focused events aimed to drive brand awareness, product interest and increased lead conversions.

Collaborate with product, sales and regional leadership teams to ensure event strategies align with business goals and contribute to driving demand generation and pipeline growth.

Own all logistics, from initial proposals to event execution, including managing external vendors, managing budgets and ensuring seamless event delivery.

Design and implement creative event strategies that increase product awareness, showcase Gia’s value proposition and engage potential clients.

Measure event effectiveness by tracking KPIs like product interest and direct sales impact.

Partner with revenue operations to conduct post-event evaluations, analyze data and continuously optimize event performance.

Lead cross-functional teams to identify promotional tactics, sponsorships, partner and PR opportunities to amplify event reach.

Negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships and oversee the logistics for both in-person and virtual events.

Exhibit professionalism and poise in all interactions, representing the brand with confidence and ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience for both internal stakeholders and external clients at all events.

Stay informed on the latest event marketing trends, especially within the tech and AI industries, and propose innovative ways to enhance our event strategies.
What We’re Looking For:

5-8 years of event marketing experience, ideally within the tech or AI industry, with a proven track record in managing large-scale events that drive engagement, pipeline generation, and new business opportunities.

Experience in developing and managing tech-focused events, including AI product showcases, webinars, and conferences.

Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.

Expertise in managing event budgets, vendor negotiations, and ensuring the execution of high-quality, impactful events.

Proficiency in marketing automation tools (HubSpot preferred) and CRM platforms (Salesforce) to track event performance and ROI.

Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product, and marketing teams to drive cohesive event strategies.

A self-starter with exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership.

A passion for technology, AI, and innovation, with the ability to articulate complex technical solutions in an engaging and accessible way.

Ability to travel approximately 30%

The annual gross base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 plus variable compensation.
