About this Position

G-P is seeking a Senior Event Marketing Specialist to join the Global Events Team. This position reports into the Director, Global Events, on the Communications and Events team. We are looking for a results-oriented, creative, growth-minded team player who is comfortable working cross-functionally, as well leading programs independently. This role is focused on driving brand awareness, product interest and increasing sales for G-P’s newest product, G-P Gia, the world’s first AI-based global HR compliance advisor.

The Senior Event Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing a strategic tech-focused event program, overseeing execution from proposal to delivery and ensuring measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to manage complex programs in a tech-oriented industry and execute events that result in tangible business growth.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive calendar of tech-focused events aimed to drive brand awareness, product interest and increased lead conversions.

  • Collaborate with product, sales and regional leadership teams to ensure event strategies align with business goals and contribute to driving demand generation and pipeline growth.

  • Own all logistics, from initial proposals to event execution, including managing external vendors, managing budgets and ensuring seamless event delivery.

  • Design and implement creative event strategies that increase product awareness, showcase Gia’s value proposition and engage potential clients.

  • Measure event effectiveness by tracking KPIs like product interest and direct sales impact.

  • Partner with revenue operations to conduct post-event evaluations, analyze data and continuously optimize event performance.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify promotional tactics, sponsorships, partner and PR opportunities to amplify event reach.

  • Negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships and oversee the logistics for both in-person and virtual events.

  • Exhibit professionalism and poise in all interactions, representing the brand with confidence and ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience for both internal stakeholders and external clients at all events.

  • Stay informed on the latest event marketing trends, especially within the tech and AI industries, and propose innovative ways to enhance our event strategies.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5-8 years of event marketing experience, ideally within the tech or AI industry, with a proven track record in managing large-scale events that drive engagement, pipeline generation, and new business opportunities.

  • Experience in developing and managing tech-focused events, including AI product showcases, webinars, and conferences.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Expertise in managing event budgets, vendor negotiations, and ensuring the execution of high-quality, impactful events.

  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools (HubSpot preferred) and CRM platforms (Salesforce) to track event performance and ROI.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product, and marketing teams to drive cohesive event strategies.

  • A self-starter with exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership.

  • A passion for technology, AI, and innovation, with the ability to articulate complex technical solutions in an engaging and accessible way.

  • Ability to travel approximately 30%
