THE CHALLENGE

Eventbrite has the world’s largest data repository of live events, powering millions of events and hundreds of millions of ticket transactions each year in 170+ countries. The Marketing Analytics team’s mission is to leverage all this data so we can build a better product to help our Creators better manage and promote their events, support our Attendees to find the perfect event, and grow our business. As we position Eventbrite for continued success, we are looking for a Sr. Marketing Data Analytics Manager who is a strong individual contributor and collaborator with a proven track record of working with marketing teams to optimize marketing impact. This role will report into Product analytics in the short-term and in the long-term sit in the marketing organization as we build and scale this capability. This person will partner with senior marketing leaders, product marketing teams, and other analysts to define, measure, and analyze the impact of marketing efforts and concisely communicate insights. As a marketing data expert, you will play a key role in reshaping the success of Eventbrite marketing.

THE TEAM

Today, our Marketing Analytics team is a small but growing team centralized within the Data Organization alongside Product Analytics. Our scope spans multiple user types and business models across the entire breadth of the business and multiple types of marketing (Product Marketing, Growth, Performance, Lifecycle, Brand etc.). We leverage various tools and data sources to generate novel insights and recommendations that drive impact. We conquer significant problems by putting our heads together, learning, supporting, and mentoring each other to reach greater heights as a team and company.

THE TECH STACK

Our data operations rely on diverse, powerful technologies, including Heap, Statsig, Tableau, Hubspot, Braze, Salesforce and Snowflake. 

THE ROLE

  • Collaborate with senior marketing leaders as a thought partner

  • Define & standardize how we measure marketing’s success and refine marketing attribution 

  • Derive and communicate actionable insights for marketing stakeholders to successfully operate at scale 

  • Collaborate with data engineering to outline our marketing data models 

  • Develop SQL queries, Tableau dashboards, and analyses that enables you, other analysts, and your partners to more efficiently glean insights and work with data

  • Empower your partners to self-serve on data and increase its frequently in decision making

  • Coach, mentor, and guide more junior analysts with a path towards potentially managing direct reports

THE SKILL SET

  • 5+ years experience working in marketing analytics

  • Experience partnering with marketing teams, marketing campaigns, and marketing data

  • Experience defining and leveraging marketing attribution 

  • Experimentation and statistical understanding when measuring marketing campaigns/actions

  • Strong interpersonal and proactive communication skills 

  • Ability to distill complicated problems into simpler actionable frameworks 

  • Proven track record driving insights and impact with a natural knack for data storytelling

  • High autonomy and ability to independently prioritize and  manage multiple concurrent projects 

  • Deep experience with data languages/tools and how to leverage them including SQL, Tableau, Snowflake, Heap, & Github (or similar tools).
