We are looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager who is interested in driving high-impact strategic sourcing initiatives across Reddit. You will be responsible for leading various negotiations and RFPs, act as a guide for internal stakeholders when working with their vendor partners, and strive to improve Reddit’s margin under our vendor portfolio spend.

Job Description

The Strategic Sourcing Manager builds strong relationships with internal and external partners to develop and execute sourcing plans that deliver value and create measurable and meaningful cost savings for the organization. You’ll have exceptional contracting, negotiation and communication skills and a high level of customer focus and business judgement. The ability to juggle multiple projects and deals while maintaining the role as a trusted advisor for the business is essential for success in this role.

What you will do:

  • You will be focused on sourcing for BPO, Benefits, HR, Sales, Marketing, and Legal. 

  • Own all aspects of strategic sourcing including RFx, contract negotiation, category strategy, market intelligence, spend analysis and supplier management. 

  • Craft negotiation strategies and drive the negotiation of agreements in collaboration with stakeholders. 

  • Build strong and trusted relationships with stakeholders and influence stakeholders to align with best in class strategies 

  • Deliver budgeted savings or year over year cost savings

  • Plan, source, and select new vendors, helping to develop Reddit’s vendor strategy. Work with business owners to optimize relationships with existing vendors.

  • Uncover new opportunities and drive process improvement

Who you Might Be:

  • 5+ Years Strategic Sourcing experience with an emphasis in Services Sourcing categories and some experience with SaaS contracts. Experience in Tech Sourcing is a plus but not required. 

  • Exposure to high-growth technology or media companies

  • Results-oriented customer advocate with an entrepreneurial mindset; demonstrated an ability to innovate, a bias toward action in fast-paced environments, and development of clear, actionable recommendations

  • Track record of strategic execution and implementation of ideas, processes, and programs

  • Patient leader who can communicate and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences

  • Proficient in a Procurement System such as Netsuite, Coupa, Zip and willing to learn new systems for Reddit to trial

  • Ability to pull financial spend reports and create commodity strategies annually and propose cost savings targets
