We are seeking an experienced UX Designer to join our growing technology team. As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for crafting intuitive and user-centered digital experiences for our customers and internal/external workers. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to create tools that streamline project management, resource allocation, and task dispatch processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand user needs, business objectives, and project requirements.
- Design and iterate on user interface for our technology tools, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging design patterns, and apply them to enhance the user experience.
- Conduct user research, and usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions and improvements.
- Work closely with front-end developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and provide guidance throughout the development process.
- Maintain design consistency and contribute to the evolution of our design system and guidelines.
- Demonstrate a keen interest in how UX design is influenced by advancements in language models, Large Language Models (LLMs), and generative AI technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- 5-7 years of professional experience in UX/UI design for web and mobile applications.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including complex workflows and task-based interfaces.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, inVision, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Experience with user-centered design methodologies and usability principles.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present and articulate design decisions to cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Agile development processes and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and guidelines is a plus.
